CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students in all classes have the opportunity to use the sports and games facilities several times a week after school hours under the supervision of a qualified instructor. A wide range of sports, indoor games and clubs are available to the students. Junior students participate in not more than two activities on a weekly basis. Senior students have the opportunity to belong to up to three clubs which meet weekly

 

CLUBS

Clubs available are:

Junior Engineers, Technologist and Scientists (JETS), Horticulture, French, Press Club, Readers Club, Archeology and Local History, Leather Work/Shoe-Mending, Tailoring, Social Services, Literary and Debating, Information & Communication Technology, Current Affairs, Ham Radio, Photography, Programming, Tech Club and Chess Club, Ludo,  Ayo, Scrabble

 

SPORTS FACILITIES

Football Field, Table Tennis, Long Jump, High Jump.

 

RELIGION

Students are encouraged wholeheartedly to practice their faith. Time and space is made available for worship as required and dietary provisions prepared. All are encouraged to reflect on the deep questions of life, and to be aware of and respect the traditions of other faiths

 

COMPUTER LITERACY 

The college has an active computer literacy programs using a wide-range of computers in the Information Technology room and in the library Information resource room. All these computers are fully networked with internet access. Computer Studies is taught at every class level. Students are taught basic skills in using several relevant computer applications, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Computer aided Design, Information presentation/Graphics, Desktop publishing and Database Management. Professional Microsoft examinations in various applications are now available for Class 5 students.

Members of the school Press Club, Astronomy Club, and the school Bankers use computers for between one and four hours weekly in a practical context.
