The name “PACESETTER” emanates from vision and mission of the founders to establish and operate a leading educational institution in the Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State, Nigeria. The College is situated between Ayetoro-Abeokuta Road in the South and Idagba-Olodo Road in the North of Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State. It is directly opposite the premises of the Comprehensive High School. Ayetoro. The take off facilities are on plot A1 of Isola Olateju Gardens Estate, Ayetoro, Yewa North, Ogun State. The said plot A1 with the building there on belongs to Chief (Mrs) Iyabo Adebowale Olateju.

The College operated initially from two buildings namely:

1. General purpose and Administrative Block
2. The Academic Block consisting of six (6) Classrooms on a building. The General purpose and Administrative Block will House.

Pacesetter College Ayetoro is a co-educational institution for boys and girls attracted from all the geo-political areas of Nigeria. The College prepares and produces its highly talented youths to face the challenges of a great future.

Standard infrastructural facilities coupled with regular, friendly and highly intelligent qualified teachers and instructors will enhance the chances of the students to become and retain robust leadership positions in their studies of Pure Science, Humanity and Social Science, Economics,  Entrepreneurships, Information & Communication Technology and other disciplines.

Pacesetter College disciplines its students in the promotion of sound moral and cultural education and in clear show of respect for constituted authority.

The Pacesetter College Anthem and Pledge constantly ring in the ears and minds (hearts) of the Students to be a PACESETTER in Academic Pursuits, Self-discipline, Sound Moral, Public Behaviour, Good Appearance, Community Related Matter, Pleasant, and Emulative Humble Egotism. There are Two (2) segments of Education at the Pacesetter College. These are Classes JSS1 – JSS3 culminating in the writing of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and classes SS1 – SS3 ending up  in the writing of Senior Certificate Examination (SSCE).
